Press Pass ID Cards- Free for Professional Members!
The Montana Newspaper Association provides Press ID Cards (Credentials) as a no-cost service to our Professional Members. Press IDs are for newspaper journalists, photographers, newsroom staff, correspondents, and reporters.
Electronic Press IDs are generally available within 2-3 days.
Laminated IDs are mailed within 7 days.
Press IDs expire two years from date of issue/renewal.
Guidelines for Identification Photo:
Your photo should be a clear close-up of your face including your head and shoulders.
The background should be a solid, blank background, with good lighting.
Remove hats or sunglasses and look directly at the camera.
To order a press ID, please email the following information to Brian Allfrey, [email protected]:
- Name
- Newspaper
- Job Title
- Current JPEG photo as an attachment. If requesting more than one ID, please identify the person in the photo by photo file name or in your email – i.e JoeSmith.jpg instead of 1234.jpg or in email, Beth-red sweater, Joe-blue shirt.
- Guidelines for ID photo – Photo should be a clear close-up of face including head and shoulders. Remove hats or sunglasses. Solid, plain backgrounds with good lighting are preferred.
