Your local participating newspaper can help you maximize the power of small space advertising, including designing and preparing your ad. Or, you can call the Montana Newspaper Association and our SDAP specialist will schedule your ad. You provide ad copy (pdf files) to MNA. Each ad copy must contain two widths, 3.2″ wide and 3.7″ wide to display correctly in the various newspapers. Email [email protected] for ad reservations and for sending accompanying ad copy.

REQUIREMENTS
- Two column widths are required for each ad: 3.2″ and 3.7″
- There is a limit of the equivalent of EIGHT 2×2 PLACEMENTS PER WEEK (32 column inches)…please call early to reserve space as it may sell-out.
- Ads must be provided as PDFs with fonts embedded.
- Send a separate PDF for each size.
DEADLINE
Wednesday, 5 p.m. Deadlines may be adjusted near major holidays.
AVAILABILITY
Space available for SDAP advertising is limited each week, and is sold on a first come, first served basis. Order early to assure your desired advertising run dates.
TERMS
Payment is advance is preferred on political advertising. All other advertising will be invoiced immediately following the week the ads ran. MNA offers an online payment with credit card or call for assistance.
AD ACCEPTANCE
All legal ads accepted. Note: Adoption ads must be placed by a placement agency or individual licensed by the State of Montana Department of Public Health & Human Services, Child & Family Services Division.
PLACEMENT
We cannot guarantee 100 percent placement of any ad. It is left to the discretion of individual newspapers to accept or reject ads, according to policies at their newspapers.
TEARSHEETS
The Montana Newspaper Association does not provide tearsheets from each newspaper, but the MNA does monitor publication in all the newspapers and can, upon request, provide a notarized Affidavit insertion order to the newspapers.
