More about this opportunity from Dean Larry Abramson:We have chosen October 28 as the date for our session with a trainer from the Google Newslab. That’s a Friday, and I hope many of you will be able to attend. The Newslab session will help bring us up to date on the amazing tools hidden inside Google, tools that can help you create cool graphics, charts and visual displays. We’re still figuring out how long this session will be, and are narrowing the focus—thanks to Lee Banville for his help with this. I’m thinking we’ll convene at around 10am in DAH316, have a lunch break, and work in the afternoon as long as needed.
